This cover for Seven Days Vermont celebrates ice cream and peak summer vibes, the kind of magic that happens in Vermont when the sun’s out. I was asked to illustrate a cover for the Seven Days Summer Preview issue, capturing classic Vermont summer activities, with the “creemee” as the main focus. The creemee is a Vermont specialty, a soft-serve style ice cream with a higher cream content (hence the name!), and a beloved staple of Vermont summers.
